Fiora Valli Sustainability Statement
At Fiora Valli, doing the right thing isn’t an afterthought — it’s a responsibility.
From our earliest ideas, we’ve believed that even small brands can drive meaningful impact. That’s why we’re committed to ethical sourcing, worker rights, and low-impact materials, all with transparency at the heart.
Ethical Manufacturing — Amfori BSCI
We work with suppliers who are part of the Amfori BSCI platform — a globally recognised initiative supporting fair labour conditions and human rights in supply chains.
Through Amfori, factories receive audits, training, and tools to improve workplace conditions. Topics include gender equality, grievance mechanisms, and worker empowerment — in their local languages.
Responsible Cotton — Better Cotton Initiative
We support the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) to help improve livelihoods, soil health, and water usage in cotton farming.
BCI trains farmers to reduce chemical use, protect ecosystems, and uphold workers’ rights. While Better Cotton isn't directly traceable to each product, it helps grow demand for more sustainable practices globally.
Carbon Offsetting — CarbonClick
We’ve partnered with CarbonClick to offer offsetting at checkout — allowing you to join us in investing in high-integrity carbon reduction projects.
Each project aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and supports long-term environmental and community impact. This is just the beginning of our decarbonisation journey.
Supporting Women — Reemi Partnership
We’re proud to partner with Reemi, a nonprofit improving menstrual health access and education for garment workers in Bangladesh.
Many women lack access to safe period care — leading to health risks and missed work. Reemi’s workshops provide essential knowledge, support, and dignity. Together, we’re helping break taboos and empower women — one conversation at a time.
Safer Materials — OEKO-TEX® Certified
98% of our fabric suppliers are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning our products are tested for harmful chemicals — even those not yet legally regulated.
This protects both our wearers and the workers who produce our garments.
Less Plastic. Smarter Packaging.
While we’ve never relied heavily on plastics, we’re still cutting more:
-
Zip-lock reusable packaging (no single-use dust bags)
-
Recycled instead of virgin polyester in key products
-
Swapped plastic tape for paper alternatives
Sustainable Fibres — Our Ongoing Goal
Our goal is to transition to 100% sustainably sourced fibres, including:
-
BCI, Organic, and Recycled cotton
-
Recycled polyester and nylon
Timelines vary based on supply chain capacity, but we’re committed to continuous improvement — and full transparency.
